Children’s Case Manager
EDUCATION:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or other related human service field from an accredited university.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:
Children’s Mental Health Professional (CMHP) certified or eligibility for certification
EXPERIENCE:
Three years’ experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of minors and their families required.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Responsibilities include providing clinical assessment of children and families, providing supportive counseling, evaluating the need for hospitalization and residential community living, making and monitoring referrals, advocating for clients, parenting skills instruction, and monitoring service delivery to determine effectiveness and appropriateness of services.
